Lands of Progression II

Lands of Progression II (2013—2017) imagines financial receipts from the production of islands in the South China Sea. In referencing the capital flows that structure foreign investments, the installation gestures at the neocolonial use of capital to establish territorial claims that define geopolitics in Southeast Asia. In collaboration with Tan Peiling, and presented as part of the Southeast Asian Forum at Art Stage 2017.
